Send the Dimensions That Define the Fit

A useful shaft-clamp enquiry starts with the actual shaft and the space around it. Include the EP-SCS model or required bore, measured shaft diameter, quantity, keyway requirement and a short description of what the collar is expected to do.

For replacement work, add the old collar outside diameter and width, clamp-screw access direction and a photo or drawing of the installation area. If impact, unusual environment, a specific material/finish or documentation requirement matters, state it in the same enquiry so it can be addressed from the start.

Useful Attachments

  • Dimensioned shaft or assembly drawing.
  • Photo of the existing collar and surrounding components.
  • Key/keyway dimensions when applicable.
  • Maximum OD/width when the installation envelope is restricted.
  • Notes on impact, environment or requested documentation.

What Happens Next

Your RFQ can be reviewed against the EP-SCS dimensional range and the interface details you provide. If a standard model does not match the assembly, the drawing and measurements give a practical basis for discussing a non-standard option rather than guessing from a machine name.
